Race against the clock to escape from the convoluted dungeons of the rainbow zebra.

This little snack game was build to showcase a grid based ray-casting routine written with the Oscar C compiler.

Eight different labyrinth creating routines provide 27 levels of increasing size and complexity.  Use the joystick direction control to navigate, and the button to accelerate.  A preview of the maze is shown before each race and can be inspected using the left and right joystick control.  The STOP button opens a small in game menu.

Title and in-game music composed by Crisps.

Dude...this is GREAT!  Can't believe it runs so fast.  Of course the next thing I'm thinking, is can we make Castle Wolfenstein on this thing?  Or at least some variation of it. Think sprites can be rendered over it?  Saw your clever sine and cos tables in the source code.  New to C64 programming so that makes sense, but never would have thought of that first off.  Congrats on this achievement!

Amazing fast! Very cool game!

I recorded a short gameplay video (German):

The speed of this game is insane! I have never seen so fast 3D on a C64. Hats off to you sir!

Oh wow, it's insanely fluid for a 3d maze on the C64! Amazing job!

I had a little bit of time to play it a couple of days ago. This game is genius :). Well done.

Off course, the first thing you notice about this game is the 3d effect which is really well done, but...

...this game is fun as hell! Love it!

Simple, fast paced and stressing you out! :-D

Very nice work! ;-) You can really do your best with 3D-games like this and Gates of the Ancient so you should try to make your next game version from this awesomeness with adding some weapons and enemies, please!

Nice one, speed! Will give this a whirl on real hardware.

Impressive! I had to look twice to believe this is really on C64! ;)
