How did I miss this one? I played Zuma a lot with my sister and was thinking of making game like that (maybe) for C64, but technically it felt to me it might be quite challenging. Well done!!!
WOW - What an amazing game! I did not know Zuma before, so Balls Like a Frog is my first introduction to this very type of gameplay. Thank you Dr. Mortal Wombat for creating it. Mesmerizing and addictive :-)
(meaning, it's good. here, have one of my "covers" i make exclusively for myself. i was to share these on lemon, alas, they banned me for being a "troll". their loss, your gain. this stays up for 1 week before it gets auto-deleted so grab it now or never. more covers incoming...)
Very good good demake of "Zuma" that makes for a lot of fun. However, the C64 CPU seems to be overloaded when many balls are displayed, so that the game speed suffers as a result. However, the support for numerous input devices such as paddles and mouse compensates for this, with which the game can be controlled much better and faster. I remember the original PC game of Zuma back in the early 2000s. It was a very original game idea and had me addicted to this game. Once again another masterpiece ported for our old favourite 8 bit machine. Superb game. Well done
Great game. Reminds of the PC days. As the editor of K&A PLUS newspaper (https://ka-plus.pl/en/), I would like to talk to you about your game. Feel free to contact me at
played it alot on pc back when it was released in 2003, so ime very happy to see that you made this for C64 :) so i cant stop wondering. about the same time, a pc game called chains also was released wich i played wonder if that would be possible some time in the future. just for inspiration https://www.gamehouse.com/games/chainz
Thanks for your awsome port, ime looking forward to showing this on my retro computer stream
The way you manipulate the character set to track the balls around is ingenious, especially with the speed fluctuations and the like, such as the combos. Outstanding job!

Playing this with a paddle is awesome!
Great game! No hi-score table?

Wow, great puzzler and really good port. I know the role model for this game from the Arcades.
Awesome port game !

Works so well with paddles - thank you :)
Strangely, I purchased Zuma Deluxe for Windows, two weeks ago. :)
Nice game!
Great game! Just a little question: is there a difference between the Zzap! 64 version "Zuma" and Balls like a Frog?
Only the name is changed
Ok, thanks. That's what I thought.
Dr. Mortal Wombat strikes again with original games :)
Love the Paddle support. Will try this soon. Thanks
Outstanding! Loving these demakes
zuma :)
